Job Description:
A company is looking for a Budget and Program Analyst to support
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Key Responsibilities
Lead Bottom-Up Reviews (BURs) to align costs with program
objectives and priorities
Manage long-term budget planning by collecting and analyzing five
to ten-year budget plans
Serve as a liaison between the Management and Budget Office and
Deputy Assistant Administrators' Offices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 8 or more years of relevant experience;
Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience
Experience in program analysis, budget planning, or budget
formulation at a Federal Agency is preferred
Familiarity with the federal budget cycle or accounting systems is
a plus
Experience handling a large portfolio of programs and projects
Knowledge of NOAA budget processes and National Ocean Service (NOS)
programs is advantageous
